MACAI has a need for your service!

All committee chair and DSR positions are open at MACAI.  Nominations can be brought to the December MACAI meeting, and those positions will be voted on then.  The positions are: SUPPLIES, H & I, HELPLINE, NEWSLETTER, SERVICE MANUAL, PUBLIC INFORMATION, ACTIVITIES, UNITY, FINANCE, and DSR.

GA Area has opened nomination for Area service positions to include: Vice-Chair, Unity Chair and Alternate Delegate. If you have any questions, please contact the Area Officers by email from the GA Area web site at www.georgiaca.org  or contact the Area Chair at 404-403-1668.

Qualifications are as follows:

Vice‑Chairperson: have at least two (2) years of continuous sobriety; have at least one (1) year of previous service at the Area, District and/or World Service level; have experience in managerial duties and possess administrative skills; have a working knowledge of the Twelve Traditions, the Twelve Concepts of World Service and the CALA Bylaws: and be skilled in the application of Robert's Rules of Order.

Unity Chair: have at least one (1) year of continuous sobriety; have at least six (6) months of previous service at the Area, District and/or World Service level; have a working knowledge of the Twelve Traditions, the Twelve Concepts of World Service and the GACA Bylaws and willingness to serve.

Alternate Delegate: have at least three (3) years continuous sobriety; have a working knowledge of the Twelve Traditions, the Twelve Concepts of World Service, SEE CA World Service Manual for full description.
